I don't know just what I'll do
Everytime you walk into the room
Oh my head is spinning around
And I can't see clearly right now

I don't know if I'll survive,
In this magical land behind your eyes.
And there's all these funny little men,
There all asking me to dance and sing.

Red and yellow, pink and green, purple and orange and blue.

Are all of the colours I see my love, everytime I see you.

I'm wasted
I'm so wasted on you

[Angus & Julia Stone, but these words sing far too deep into my heart for me not to place them here]

I adore that photograph. I always loved such foggy wild landscapes.
Your blog is wonderful.

Gah! love that photo and I totally get you with A&J Stone's Wasted.. That song has a double meaning, apparently Julia wrote it when she was in a new relationship and very in love (so being wasted refered to how in love she was) but when the relationship turned bad & she began to feel trapped she found that the song could also mean she was she was being wasted on someone.. "I dont know if i'll survive this magical land behind your eyes" is refering to his disillusion of the relationship & "theres all these funny little men all asking me to dance and sing" refers to other possible lovers waiting for her to be free... Kinda crazy huh.. sorry I hope I havent ruined the song for you :S I just like to know these kind of random things & I identify with it more on that level since I'm feeling a little wasted on someone at the moment
love your blog too

Angus and Julia have this fantastic ability to climb inside the hearts and minds of a few, weave their webs and leave you in a world of your own, with many things suddenly making sense. I loved your blog, and when I read that I simply fell in love. One of my favorite songs from my favorite acoustic musicians.

You are such a gem, beautiful Helena and you write like an angel. This collection of wonder you have here is making my heart skip, like a girl rushing home at lunch time in her shiny shoes that go clack clack beneath her feet.
Never forget to shine, for you shine brightest of them all, dove.

Yours,
Norah of 'lets run away'
